Why tallow

Tallow is one of the oldest skincare ingredients there is, and your skin knows what to do with it. I start with grass-fed tallow and a handful of things I’d happily use on my own family, whipped soft so it sinks in without the grease. No fillers, no mystery ingredients, no factory. Just small batches made at my own counter, somewhere between Texas and Michigan.

Tallow is beef fat, rendered slow and clean until it’s pure, then whipped soft. Ours comes from 100% grass-fed cattle, and that part matters: grass-fed tallow is naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, and it’s so close to the oils your skin makes on its own that it soaks in like it belongs there. Because it kind of does.

Folks used tallow on their skin for generations before anybody invented the lotion aisle. I didn’t discover anything new. I just went back to the thing that worked and left out everything that doesn’t need to be there.
