My journey into the world of natural skincare didn't start in a boardroom; it started at home. As a woman in my 50s—a wife, a mother of three, and a proud grandmother—I found myself on a constant search for something that could truly nourish my maturing, dry skin. I wanted results, but I also wanted simplicity. When I discovered tallow, everything changed. I was struck by how incredibly nourishing it felt and, more importantly, how it honored the "less is more" philosophy. Seeing a product with so few ingredients—all of them natural and recognizable—was a revelation.

A Family Vision

The more I researched the benefits of tallow, the more I realized I didn't just want these products for myself—I wanted to share them with others. I sat down with my son to share this spark of an idea, and his support was the final green light I needed. Together, we began to envision what this venture could become.

What’s in a Name?

Choosing a name was a deeply personal process. I am a native Texan, and my husband hails from Michigan. We’ve spent years navigating the beautiful, stark differences between our two homes—the sprawling Texas heat and the crisp Michigan cold. We thought about the lifestyle so many of us share: traveling back and forth to escape the extremes of the seasons. Whether you are seeking relief from the desert sun or protection against a biting northern wind, your skin deserves a constant, reliable source of hydration. Snowbird was born from that bridge between two worlds. It is skincare designed for the journey, rooted in nature, and crafted with the care of a grandmother’s touch.
